Ford gave the Focus a new Sync 3 infotainment system for 2016, and the high-performance Focus RS variant joined the lineup. The standard engine is a four-cylinder with 160 horsepower, but optional engines provide up to 350 horsepower. An electric model, the Focus Electric, is available, but it is discussed separately. The EPA-estimated gas mileage ranges from 30/41/34 mpg city/highway/combined to 19/25/22 mpg. Ford sells the Focus in sedan and hatchback body styles, and both versions of this compact car provide five-passenger seating. The sedan has 13.2 cubic-feet of trunk space, and hatchbacks offer 43.9 cu-ft of maximum cargo capacity.
